That was the weekend that was

I got to spend an entire weekend with Mr Boyfriend.

It was great!

I went to Sydney on Friday and we had dinner at Thai Nesia on Oxford Street, the mecca of gay Sydney. Unfortunately it’s lost its sparkle. The old girl is looking tired and lost a bit of her gay abondon.

After dinner we went off to the Flinders Hotel for Bear Night . Woof-a-licious! It’s been so long since I’ve been out like that, it was fantastic! Lots of hot, hairy men, young and old and so friendly. Mr Boyfriend and I stayed longer than we really should have and finished by playing a really bad game of pool.  Then we wandered over to Manacle, the leather bar. The rest of the night is a bit of a blur – for both of us! Victoria Bitter (VB) was our friend and she wasn’t merciful.

Saturday saw us get up, eventually and I toddled over to see the Mothership™ and Dad, followed by seeing Alexander. He definitely had too much red cordial on Saturday – he was truly obnoxious. Oh well, he’s three and a half, so what can you do? That night I took Mr Boyfriend to his first AFL game – Swans vs. Tigers. We won. By a lot!

Another sleep in today, but not as late as yesterday and out for a lovely breakfast and extremely large coffee. It took a lot longer to get home today than normal because of track work, but I’m home, Anzac is fed and the heater is on.

A great weekend and I’m hoping the first of many with Mr Boyfriend – he’s a truly special, beautiful man.

That’s my boy

Just uploaded a group of pics to my Flickr of Alexander and I today.

Isn’t he as handsome as his Dad?

Back to school

Currently doing a course on Final Cut Pro 6 editing. If I pass the exam on Saturday, I’ll be one of the first people in Australia to be certified by Apple to use the program. Woo hoo!

Hopefully it’ll mean more work and more money.
